एसएससी भर्ती बोर्ड द्वारा सीएचएसएल चयन प्रक्रिया की बात करे तो चार चरणों मे पूरी की जाती है । जो निम्लिखित है ।

SSC CHSL परीक्षा के tier 1 और tier 2 में वस्तुनिष्ठ प्रश्न पूछे जाते है । skill test या टाइपिंग टेस्ट में अभ्यर्थियों से कंप्यूटर टाइपिंग स्पीड के बारे में ज्ञान को जाँच जाता है ।

• SSC CHSL के tier 1 और tier 2 में वस्तुनिष्ठ प्रश्न वहुवैकल्पिक होते है ।
• SSCH CHSL Tier 1 के प्रश्नों को हल करने के लिये 60 मिनट का समय दिया जाता है ।जबकि tier 2 के प्रश्नों को हल करने के लिए 120 मिनट का समय दिया जाता है ।
• प्रत्येक एक प्रश्न के सही जबाब देने पर tier 1 में 2 अंक और tier 2 में 3 अंक दिए जाते है ।
• अगर आप प्रश्न के गलत जबाब देते है तो आपके प्राप्त अंक में से 0.5 अंक कम कर दिए जाते है ।
• SSC CHSL typing test /skill test में DEO पोस्ट के लिये 20 मिनट का समय दिया जाता है जबकि LDC पोस्ट के अभ्यर्थियों के लिए 15 मिनट का समय दिया जाता है ।
• अभ्यर्थियों को फॉर्म भरते समय ही टाइपिंग टेस्ट हिंदी या अंग्रेजी जिसमे देने में सझम है उसे बताना होता है ।
